NZVA

The Deer Branch of the NZVA was constituted in 1984 as a special interest branch, as an opportunity to "serve members in order to enhance and expand the veterinary support and service role to the deer industry".

It works closely with the industry at NZDFA branch and national level on research, animal welfare and quality assurance activities, and nominates two veterinarian representatives to the National Velveting Standards Body.
